The Doodle Stick Literacy Programme is an award-winning literacy and handwriting development programme.

Research into child development and neurological development is increasingly showing that developing

a child’s physical and gross motor movements will increase their fine motor skills.  This fun,

easy to use, kinaesthetic literacy programme has been designed to stimulate children’s brains as well as bodies and result

in increasing legible writing and literacy skills.  It has shown to be especially useful for reluctant writers, children with

additional needs and those with English as a second language. Used across the UK in nurseries, schools, after school clubs and children’s centres outreach groups.

Train to embed the Doodle Stick Literacy Programme within your setting to help improve your children’s literacy and handwriting.  Suitable for all early years and key stage 1 practitioners working within nurseries and schools, including after school clubs and any other setting with young children age 2 to 7.
